The Watermark at Vistawilla continued our Active Aging Week celebrations with yet another form of dance! Residents gathered with Mackenna to learn all about the basics of ballet. Class participants were excited to sport a frilled tutu for this special occasion! We practiced our poses using a bar similar to what one would utilize during barre yoga. Ballet is a wonderful exercise that allows dancers to improve balance, flexibility, and range of motion. Everyone felt inspired by Mackenna, and we learned that you’re never too old to dance!
